    About the event

    We are pleased to invite you to the course "Organ Clinical Cytology of Dogs and Cats Part 1 - Hematology", which will take place on November 28-30, 2025 at Olkuska Street in Warsaw. 👨‍⚕️ The course will be led by Dr. Francesco Carrani from Pisa, Italy, a doctor with over 20 years of clinical experience, who has been conducting courses in Italy and Poland for over 10 years. The main goal of the course is to provide practical knowledge that can be used in everyday clinical practice. A hematology course from basics to advanced cases. Professor Carrani will present hematology from a clinical perspective and introduce changes in morphology, red and white blood cells, with particular emphasis on the most common diseases in veterinary medicine. He will comprehensively discuss the topic of acute and chronic leukemias and hemolytic anemias based on clinical cases from diagnosis to therapy. The course "Organ Clinical Cytology of Dogs and Cats" can be taken as a whole or you can participate only in selected parts. The classes are in the form of an interactive lecture interspersed with practical sessions dedicated to working with microscope slides. Each participant, working with a microscope, will have the opportunity to analyze various cases and discuss their doubts with the instructor. At the beginning of the course, you will receive colorful printed materials. The course is translated consecutively from English to Polish. 💰 The participation fee is 2800 PLN gross, payable in one installment or in two installments. 🕘 Course classes start at 9:00 a.m. and end around 6:00-7:00 p.m. (Friday, Saturday) or around 12:00-1:00 p.m. (Sunday). The end times may vary slightly depending on the level of interaction between participants and the lecturer. Professor Carrani will present hematology from a clinical perspective and introduce changes in morphology, red and white blood cells, with particular emphasis on the most common diseases in veterinary medicine. He will comprehensively discuss the topic of acute and chronic leukemias and hemolytic anemias based on clinical cases from diagnosis to therapy. The second part will be devoted to cytological preparations (preparation and analysis), microscope operation instructions, basic concepts of oncological cytology (inflammation or tumor), cytology of the liver and lymph nodes (healthy node, lymphadenopathies, lymphomas). The program of the third part of the course includes cytology of body cavity fluids (effusions), spleen, skin, prostate, testes, and urinary system. The fourth part will be devoted to the cytology of synovial fluid, musculoskeletal system, and cerebrospinal fluid.
