RETRO PIXELS - Computers, Games and VHS - a Journey Through the History of Digital Entertainment

Join us for a special temporary exhibition offering a global perspective on the development of computers and games. In a specially prepared selection you will see the most important hardware from the 1980s to the present.
The exhibition is divided into three historical panels and tournaments:
- 11:00 - 11:45 - The history of computing worldwide from Charles Babbage to AI
- 13:00 - 13:45 - Digital entertainment – the history of gaming from the 1950s to the present
- 15:00 - 15:45 - Games as an art form – gaming and other cultural works
- 16:00 - 17:00 - Duck Hunt tournament
- 17:00 - 18:00 - Pong tournament

The panels and exhibits are organized by the Warsaw Museum of Computers and Games (@wmkig).
🎬 18:00 – “Mold – a mad return to VHS tapes”
A film created by Maurycy Chełmiński and Adam Janeczko. The screening for viewers 18+ combines horror, comedy and surrealism in a 66‑minute show with a live narrator. “Mold” is a tribute to old horror films and the work of Roger Corman — chaos, improvisation and absurd gags create an experience where the boundary between film and interactive performance nearly disappears.
The film screening is organized by the collective "Pleśń" (@plesn.film).
