Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I invite you to another cool walk as part of the 'Culture in Motion' project, where this time we will delve into stories about how public transportation took its first steps in its infancy on Warsaw's Praga district. We will stroll through the Praga area, and I, Mr. Tytus, your esteemed guide, will tell you how things used to be on this Praga, when the Tsarist railway reached Petersburg, how droshkies were often and densely seen on the streets, and about the first trams and narrow-gauge railways. - There will be curiosities like how to ride on the 'cycek'. - Facts, such as how much a ticket to Vilnius cost. - Why a 'lettuce seller' wasn't necessarily respected by the people. 📍 Where: Meeting at the corner of Wileńska and Targowa 📅 When: 27.09.2025 at 4:00 PM We will chat and walk for about 2 hours, and the walk is free and requires no registration. To participate, just show up. Please come in large numbers and invite family and friends. The tour will be personally conducted by Sebastian 'Tytus' Suski (Walks through Old Warsaw). This public task is co-financed by the funds of the Mazovian Voivodeship Self-Government. #warsaw #culture #MazowszeHelps #SupportPrograms #MazovianSolidarity Organizer: Fundacja Warszawiaki
