As representatives of the Student Research Circle of the Institute of Art History at the University of Warsaw, we invite you to participate in the third edition of the National Conference of Art History Circles.
📅
23–24 April 2026
We welcome all members of student research circles affiliated with art history institutes, doctoral candidates and everyone conducting research in art history. The conference is cross-sectional — we are interested in topics from antiquity to contemporary art. As organizers we will divide the conference into several panels to organize presentations thematically or chronologically.
Please send short abstracts (200–300 words) in Polish.
Submission deadline: 8 February 2026
Abstracts and questions should be sent to: konferencjauwskn@gmail.com
⏱️ Estimated presentation time: approx. 20 minutes
As organizers, in cooperation with the appointed Scientific Committee (Dr. Magdalena Herman, Dr. habil. Marek Czapelski, Dr. habil. Marcin Lachowski, Dr. Mariusz Smoliński) we reserve the right to select submissions and to possibly publish a post-conference volume composed of selected papers.
🍽️ We provide coffee breaks and lunch for participants; we plan additional accompanying events and a post-conference social integration.
All those taking their first steps in an academic career are invited to an online training on writing abstracts, which will take place online. The training date will be announced soon. No registration is required for the training — we invite everyone interested, including people from outside the University of Warsaw.
