Every quarter we meet to express our concern about the climate catastrophe. We are silent for half an hour to manifest our care in a way that appeals to basic human nature — ordinary being, the simplicity of existence. You don’t need any opinions, to agree with others, or to argue with them. Just come and sit with us and the whole world.
Will it help? We believe this form of expression is like the sound of a bell — in itself it means only what is seen. If there is any real meaning, it arises within you. Do you hear?

Dress appropriately: half an hour sitting by the Vistula may mean exposure to cold and wind (or sun and heat — although in March there’s hope for mild weather, there’s also a risk of unfavorable conditions). I don’t know what we’ll do if it rains — but even then we’ll sit; maybe we’ll move under the Świętokrzyski Bridge. We’ll see.
