About the event

Stanisławski Intro — One-day acting workshop

Stanisławski Intro is an intensive acting training for adults – both professionals and theatre and film enthusiasts. The course aims not only to introduce Konstantin Stanislavski’s philosophy, but above all to show how his methods are applied in contemporary acting, helping to create authentic, emotionally rich performances.

Program:

  • 1. Foundations of acting – history and mission
    • How Konstantin Stanislavski revolutionized the art of acting and how his methods influenced contemporary theatre and film.
    • Stanisławski Studio’s mission – how we combine a classical approach with modern techniques so actors can build authentic, engaging roles.
  • 2. The key to authentic acting
    • What Stanislavski considered the foundation of acting – from emotional authenticity to consciously working on the objective of each scene.
    • Building believable, deep stage relationships and principles that help develop your own unique acting craft.
  • 3. Practical exercises
    • Creating stage history – developing a chosen scene through your own interpretation and enriching the circumstances in accordance with Stanislavski’s teachings.
    • Formulating the scene objective – learning to define the objective that guides a character’s actions and supports the actor’s work.
    • Choosing the addressee – a technique for directing intention to a specific recipient, helping to deepen onstage relationships.
    • Work with the objective – an exercise that strengthens the actor in the pursued action – a key element in building an authentic performance.

  • Start time: 11:00
  • Lunch break: around 1 hour
  • End time: 19:00
