About the event

Stanisławski Intro — One-day acting workshop

📅 22.03.26
⏰ Start time: 11:00 — End time: 19:00 (lunch break about 1 hour mid-day)
📍 Stanisławski Studio, ul. Międzyborska 80, Warszawa

Stanisławski Intro is an intensive acting training for adults — both professionals and theatre and film enthusiasts. The course aims not only to introduce Konstantin Stanislavski’s philosophy, but above all to show how his methods are applied in contemporary acting, helping to create authentic, emotionally rich performances.

  • 1. Fundamentals of acting – history and mission
    • How Konstantin Stanislavski revolutionized the art of acting and how his methods influenced contemporary theatre and film.
    • Stanisławski Studio’s mission – how we combine a classical approach with modern techniques so actors can build authentic, engaging roles.
  • 2. The key to authentic acting
    • What Stanislavski considered the foundation of acting — from emotional authenticity to conscious work on the objective of each scene.
    • Building believable, deep stage relationships and principles that help develop a personal, unique acting craft.
  • 3. Practical exercises
    • Creating a stage story — developing a chosen scene through personal interpretation and enriching circumstances according to Stanislavski’s teachings.
    • Formulating the scene objective — learning to define the objective that drives a character’s action and supports the actor’s work.
    • Choosing the addressee — a technique of directing intention to a specific recipient, helping to deepen onstage relationships.
    • Working with the objective — an exercise that strengthens the actor in their chosen action — a key element in building an authentic performance.

Requirements for participants:
- After signing up for the course you will receive material – a short scene to learn by heart. The text must be very well memorized so the exercises are effective.
- Registered participants will receive the title of a film available on a well-known streaming platform, which must be watched before the workshop.

Instructor:
The workshop will be led by Bartłomiej Gola — founder of Stanisławski Studio and a lecturer at the Academy of Theatre Arts in Wrocław. He will share his experience and knowledge about authentic acting.

💰 Cost: 300 zł
✉️ Applications: Places are limited to 10 — registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. To sign up, send a message to: stanislawskistudio@gmail.com

Why participate?
If you want to be an artist who moves the audience, not just an actor trying to perform well — this course is for you. It’s an excellent opportunity to develop authenticity and deep expression on stage.
