📅 We meet on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM by the fountain next to the sundial. The walk is planned to last about 1.5 hours. During the walk, we will learn, among other things: - Which building was modeled after the Temple of Vesta in Tivoli near Rome? - Whose life was the target of an assassination attempt in the Saxon Garden? - Where was an explosive package delivered? - Who spat in front of the Saxon Palace? - Where in the Saxon Garden could you take a bath? - Where can we find a moral authority? - Who was the fruit of Augustus the Strong's sinful love? - Where were fireworks set off during the Stanisław era? - Where was the sweetest place in the Garden? - Where was the "Temporary Barrack" associated with Mieczysława Ćwiklińska? - Who built a pyramid in the Garden? - Where did Casanova hide? - Where could you buy newspapers and where could you drink soda water? - Where was the lounge for feasting and relaxing? ...and many more. There is no fee for participating in the walk, but if you feel the guide deserves a tip, you can give it after the event. The walk will be led by a city guide from Warszawski Zaułek.
