He earned his diploma (with distinction) from the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts in 1965. He practices painting, sculpture, and applied graphics. He has held over 40 solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He has received 25 awards for his work in the fields of poster art and painting. Since 2002, he has been collaborating with the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw. He is a versatile artist, exploring forms of expression to their limits. His rich experience allows him to freely express himself in a visual language – charming yet concise, infused with energy, and still hitting the mark. His curiosity about the world, creative persistence, and extraordinary sensitivity continuously modify his works, shaping new forms of expression. His unique creations are the essence of dynamism, energy, and an incredible sense of form encapsulated in gesture. Even seemingly simple compositions gain remarkable expression: sometimes through minimalism, and sometimes through layering, his works captivate with an exceptional sensitivity to detail. The exhibition is enriched by an installation made of hardened paper and cardboard. Lustyk calls this Crush Art. This Art of Crushing subtly reminds us of the fragility of our lives. A tabula rasa effectively inscribed, stained, torn, and carried daily by the winds of life acquires its own distinctive, personal marks. None are the same; each has traveled a different path, encountered different obstacles, and faced different experiences. Similarly, the figures whose paper outlines are unique and difficult to replicate. Shadows cast on the ground are merely general outlines – the surface appearance we see in another person. Only through close contact can we discover deeper layers, structures, scars, and marks. The "Exodus" series is not a historical-patriotic inspiration but rather a personal experience of the Warsaw Uprising and childhood spent in occupied Warsaw – imprinted on the skin, recorded in memory, and embedded in life.
