    Do you write poems? Do you craft lines? Do you tap on your keyboard at night? Come to the first poetry slam at the Żoliborz Cultural Centre, present your work to the audience and win the slam! What is a poetry slam? It is an open competition where participants present their own poems, rhymes, short stories or pieces. The audience rates the performances and chooses the winner, who receives a prize from ŻDK! We perform original, authorial texts. You have a maximum of 3 minutes on stage; props and musical accompaniment are not allowed. Come, share your work and let the audience choose the best poet of the evening. You are warmly invited! The slam will be hosted by Wojtek Cichoń, known as Kidd: slamer, rapper and poet. Co-founder of: skwer.org and co-creator of projects such as Riskbreakers, ddekombinacja, Rap Addix, Międzymiastowa. An experienced organizer of performance poetry events, poetry slams and spoken word workshops. He gained his knowledge in workshops with spoken word figures such as Bob Holman, Mahogany Browne and Polarbear.     How to get to us?



    • Nearest stops: Plac Wilsona (metro, buses, trams) – about 5–7 minutes on foot, route through the park
    • Access via a paved, even park path; longer route. Near Prochownia there is a route with stairs – shorter path.
    • Along the park there are wide sidewalks and crossings with lowered curbs.
    • Paid parking spaces are available nearby.
    • There is no designated parking space for people with disabilities directly at the facility.


    Accessibility



    • The approaches to the Fort are cobblestone.
    • Spaces inside the Fort are flat and step-free.
    • The Fort has a toilet accessible for people with disabilities.
    • The place is sensory-friendly.
    • On site there are noise-reducing headphones available to borrow.
