The theme of the exhibition is guided by artists – including Władysław Hasior, Zbigniew Libera, Roman Opałka, Monika Mamzeta, Agata Zbylut, as well as creators preparing works specifically for this exhibition: Janusz Byszewski, Mariusz Libel, Ewa Cieniak, Magda Mosiewicz, Franciszek Orłowski, and Liliana Zeic. A special place is occupied by Franciszek Orłowski's "Manifesto of Seniors," created in collaboration with the Club of Modern Seniors. It includes demands such as: "aging should not be a taboo topic," "seniors should co-create the museum's program." The exhibition also features works about the experience of caregiving – the installation "Room Without Doors" prepared with caregivers, mainly Ukrainians, and a new piece by Magda Mosiewicz "Course on Falling Efficiently." We also ask about the role of the city: how to change Warsaw to accommodate all generations. We showcase new institutions, such as Intergenerational Activity Centers, juxtaposed with solutions from the past, e.g., the "Budowlani" Social Welfare Home. The heart of the exhibition is a communal table with an embroidered tablecloth by Ewa Cieniak – a place for meeting and co-creation. The exhibition WARSAW UNDER CONSTRUCTION "Older City" is not just a story about seniors but about all of us and the future that awaits us. 📅 Practical information: - Exhibition: WARSAW UNDER CONSTRUCTION: Older City 🗓️ 26.09.2025 – 29.03.2026 More information: https://muzeumwoli.muzeumwarszawy.pl/warszawa-w-budowie/ Muzeum Woli, branch of the Museum of Warsaw, ul.
