Workshops 2x1.5h are intended for people aged 16 and older. Introduction to Japanese fencing based on the Katori Shinto Ryu School and hand-to-hand combat, i.e., self-defense based on the Japanese Aikibudo fighting system. Two workshop blocks of 1.5h each: - The first dedicated to Japanese fencing Katori. - The second to Japanese self-defense Aikibudo. In both blocks, we will practice and demonstrate the relationships that exist between fighting with a sword or staff and hand-to-hand combat. Attire: kimono or sweatpants and a t-shirt. We practice barefoot, but please bring flip-flops for transitions between the locker rooms and the Dojo (training hall). Between the workshop blocks, there will be a 1-hour lunch break (you can eat your own food or order pizza or other meals). You can bring your own bokken, but if needed, we have some available for borrowing on-site. 💰 The participation fee for the workshops is 200 PLN, payable before the start of the classes.
