Let’s get to know each other! Come to a speed friending session aimed at young people who want to meet new people in a relaxed way and, most importantly, offline. It will be an opportunity to exchange experiences, say something about yourself and share recommendations for spending free time away from your phone and social media.
Event concept:
- We split into 3 groups of 5–6 people (3 tables). Each table follows a different conversation topic.
- Each round lasts about 15–20 minutes.
- After a round, half of the group rotates according to a set pattern so that each participant visits all three tables and has a chance to talk with different people.
- At the end, a short group summary is planned.
The meeting is intended for people aged 18–35.
We encourage you to bring something for the neighborhood table – it can be a small snack, a favorite tea, or another treat you’d like to share.
Facilitator:
Elio Szmawoniana – organizes regular integration meetings for young people who want to meet new people in a natural and relaxed offline setting. More about the initiative on the website.
Getting there:
- Nearest stops: Marymont (trams, buses) – about a 4–5 minute walk.
- The approach is along a flat, even pavement without elevation changes.
- Pedestrian crossings in the area have lowered curbs.
- Street parking along the estate – paid parking zone.
- Two parking spaces for people with disabilities near the entrance.
- There is a ToTuPoint marker above the door.
Accessibility:
- The spaces in MAL are flat and step-free.
- MAL has a toilet accessible to people with disabilities.
- The venue is sensory-friendly.
- Noise-cancelling headphones and a weighted blanket are available to borrow on site.
