We offer an alternative to loud, crowded gatherings! Reading Party, a concept based on reading books together, originated in New York a few years ago and continues to grow in popularity. The idea emerged from the need to be together, to promote reading, and to spend time offline. Bring the book you are currently reading and immerse yourself in the reading in our cozy space.
We encourage you to bring something to share on the neighborhood table – it can be a small snack, your favorite tea, or another treat you’d like to share.
Children may participate only under adult supervision.
Getting there:
- Closest stops: Marymont (trams, buses) – about a 4–5 minute walk.
- The path is on flat, even pavement without inclines.
- Crossings in the area have lowered curbs.
- Street parking in the neighborhood – paid parking zone.
- Two parking spaces for people with disabilities are near the entrance.
- A ToTuPoint marker is above the door.
Accessibility:
- MAL spaces are flat and without thresholds.
- MAL has a restroom accessible for people with disabilities.
- The venue is sensory-friendly.
- Quieting headphones and a weighted blanket are available to borrow on site.
