For the next meeting in the "BEST FILM on Tour: Dobra Strona Filmu" series we invite you on Wednesday, March 11. Together with distributor Best Film we present an advance screening of a film, followed by a discussion focused on women's topics.
At the upcoming meeting we will show the film "The Last Session in Paris" starring Jodie Foster as a respected psychiatrist — it is the actress's first French‑language role. After the screening we invite you to a discussion panel hosted by Anna Tatarska.
"The Last Session in Paris" is a sharp psychological thriller in which tension mixes with grotesque elements, and the resolution of the mystery becomes an intriguing game and a confrontation of the heroine with herself.
Lilian (Oscar winner Jodie Foster) is a respected psychiatrist running her own practice in Paris. Her orderly world begins to fall apart after the sudden death of a long‑time patient. Was it suicide, murder, or perhaps a tragic medical mistake? Tormented by doubts and guilt, Lilian starts a private investigation, drawing in her ex‑husband (Daniel Auteuil).
