The music of Flower and Pines cannot be easily categorized, but it clearly shows influences of industrial, dark ambient, post-rock, dark folk, black metal and neoclassical music. The lyrics by Jegor Mickiewicz have an epic, dark and complex narrative character — they explore themes such as power and violence, the cult of the individual, crisis of faith, crisis of authority, mysticism and irrational fears.

Flower and Pines was founded in 2020 in Wrocław by Belarusians Jegor Mickiewicz and Sasha Pushkin. In 2021 the debut album “How Come, Father?” was released by the Dutch label Geertruida. Then in 2022, on the same label, a mini-album (EP) titled “Hnieu” was released. The band’s second full-length album, “Unconditional Love”, was released in 2025 by the Polish label Requiem Records.

The band focuses on minimalist compositional structures and eclectic arrangements, incorporating elements of dramaturgy to create pieces that develop like theatrical performances. Multilayered, noisy rhythmic sections, ambient soundscapes and expressive vocals merge into a cinematic sonic experience, inviting listeners to visualize and build their own interpretations of what they hear.

WYDŹWIĘK is a concert series dedicated to independent, niche and unconventional music. It was created out of the need to make a space for artists who follow their own path and share authentic, unique sounds with the audience. We aim not only to promote independent music but also to support local creators and show how diverse and inspiring the world of sounds can be.

How to get to us?

• Nearest stops: Plac Wilsona (metro, buses, trams) – about a 5–7 minute walk, approach through the park
• Approach via a paved, even park path – longer route; near the Prochownia there is a route with stairs – shorter route
• Along the park there are wide sidewalks and crossings with lowered curbs
• Paid parking spaces are available nearby
• There is no designated parking space for people with disabilities directly at the venue
