Join us on March 21 for the first walk of this season in the PURO Art Walks series — taking place in Kraków for the first time!
During the upcoming meeting we will examine the status of the image in a world where the boundaries between nature, imagination and technology are blurred. The walk includes visits to the following places:
- Bunkier Sztuki — the exhibition “False Views” presenting the paintings of Łukasz Stokłosa. His landscapes, portraits and still lifes create ambiguous, liminal spaces where the natural meets the constructed.
- Galeria Szara Kamienica — the exhibition “Tiruriru” by Tomek Baran, devoted to the condition of the contemporary creator operating in a reality of constant digital flow of images and information.
- Katarzyna Wyszkowska’s studio — the walk concludes with a visit to the artist, whose practice revolves around topics of labour, data flow and time and the future — both utopian and shaped by algorithms.
Date: 21.03
Time: 12:00
Meeting place: PURO Kraków Stare Miasto, ul. Ogrodowa 10
Participation in the walk is free, but places are limited. Registration is required via applications sent to: art@purohotels.com
