The walk will be led by Sylwia Kasprowicz, a licensed guide in Warsaw. 📅 12.10.2025 (Sunday) - 12:00 PM WALK "MYSTERIES OF PRAGA AND KAMIONEK" Meeting with the guide in front of the Eastern Railway Station, entrance from Kijowska Street. - What is the connection between Kamionek and Burgundy, and which square was intended to be named Burgundy Square? - What remains of the Terespol Railway Station, and was it located exactly where the current Eastern Railway Station stands? - Which Warsaw apartment block was nicknamed "The Dachshund" and why? - What fate befell the oldest wooden monument of Warsaw's Praga this year? - Where was the idea for the Pawełek bar and Ptasie Mleczko born? - Which Kamionek house was christened the "House of the Bun"? You will find answers to these and other questions during my walk.
