We invite you on Friday, November 28th, at 8:00 PM to the presbytery of our church in Warsaw's Służew district (ul. Dominikańska 2) for a unique presbytery concert Lux æterna – a musical meditation concluding the liturgical year and the month of prayer for the deceased. Cantor and organist Piotr Karbownik will perform Gregorian chant for us, drawn from the fixed and variable parts of the Requiem Mass – including Requiem æternam, Lux æterna, In paradisum, Salve Regina – as well as organ arrangements inspired by texts concerning ultimate matters. Being in the presbytery – the liturgical center of our temple, in direct proximity to the Blessed Sacrament – can give our experience a special flavor and allow us to draw from a different dimension of the sacred than we do every day when we participate in the liturgy in the main nave of the church. The organ, installed here in the presbytery, can reveal to us new sounds and experiences of sacred music. The meeting has a prayerful character. It will be led by Fr. Tomasz Samulnik OP. ✨ Free admission. See you there!
