Full of specifics, knowledge, and experience, a 2-day workshop for psychotherapists working with adolescents: "Collaboration between psychotherapist and parents of teenagers during therapy" ---------------------- The workshop is mainly intended for: - psychotherapists working with adolescents (13-19 years old); - psychotherapists interested in therapeutic work with adolescents; - psychotherapists who have participated or will participate in one of the editions of the workshops "Methods of psychotherapeutic work with adolescents aged 13-15"; - 3rd and 4th-year students of the School of Psychotherapy. ---------------------- If you know Anna Kwiatkowska, you know this workshop will be full of specifics and examples. Participants will primarily benefit from the vast experience of the instructor in working with adolescents and their parents. It also includes: - a systemic approach in the psychotherapist's work with families; - examples of difficulties in collaboration with parents; - considerations on how to work with different types of parents, e.g., overprotective, self-sacrificing, demanding, abusive, absent, etc.; - various practical ways of talking to parents depending on the stage of the teenager's therapy; - principles for starting work, formulating contracts, and their implementation; - proven tools to facilitate the organization of therapeutic work; - ways to establish an alliance with parents while maintaining the teenager's trust; - the possibility of supervision of one's psychotherapeutic work. The workshop will be conducted using active methods. Its course will be adapted to the needs and expectations of participants. ---------------------- Instructor: Anna Kwiatkowska - has been working with adolescents individually and in groups since 2006 and consulting with parents; - has been conducting systemic therapy for families with teenagers since 2012; - is a certified psychotherapist of the Polish Society for Integrative Experiential Psychotherapy and Social Education Association Intra; - is a certified supervisor of the Polish Society for Integrative Experiential Psychotherapy and Social Education Association Intra; - is a graduate of Social Clinical Psychology at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and General Pedagogy at the Faculty of Pedagogy, University of Warsaw. She has completed, among others: - a 4-year Psychotherapy Study recommended by the Polish Psychological Society and a Psychological Assistance Course conducted by the Center for Psychological Assistance and Education Intra; - basic and advanced courses in systemic individual and family therapy organized by the Greater Poland Society for Systemic Therapy; - Couple Psychotherapy School and Family Psychotherapy School at the Psychoeducation Laboratory; - "Emotion-Focused Therapy" course. ---------------------- I invite you to register.
