In his reflections on psychic life, Didier Anzieu emphasized that the human mind is supported by two foundations – the biological body and the social body. Both bodies – biological and social – remain in constant interaction. Fantasy functions as a bridge and a screen mediating between what is biological and the surrounding world and the minds of other people. During the seminar, we will read Didier Anzieu's book "The Skin Ego" (English text), enriching the reading with contemporary reflections by E. Berman, R. Stolorov, D. Stern, A. Schore, and other authors referring to the concepts of intersubjectivity and interpersonality. The seminar will consist of two parts: - The first, theoretical - The second, practical, in which there will be an opportunity to supplement and process new knowledge through supervision of patient work. The seminar is led by Dr. Cezary Żechowski, psychiatrist and psychotherapist for children, adolescents, adults, and families, member of, among others, the Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, the Polish Society for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, the Scientific Society for Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, the International Family and Couple Psychoanalysis Society, the International Neuropsychoanalytic Society, and the European Society for the Study of Personality Disorders. Currently, he heads the Community Mental Health Center for Children and Adolescents at the Wolski Hospital in Warsaw, and is the head of the psychiatric rehabilitation ward for adolescents. Lecturer at, among others, the University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum, SWPS, UKSW, and Lazarski University. Author of numerous publications in the field of psychiatry and psychotherapy for children and adolescents. Two-time winner of the Professor Stefan Leder Award for outstanding achievements in psychotherapy, awarded by the Polish Psychiatric Association.
