The Director of the Book Institute and the team of the monthly magazine “Nowe Książki” cordially invite you to the ceremony of presenting the “Nowe Książki” Award for 2025. The laureate of the jubilee 25th edition of the Award is Marek Bieńczyk, author of the book “Rondo Wiatraczna” (Wydawnictwo Karakter). The laudation will be delivered by Piotr Sadzik, and excerpts from the award-winning book will be read by Grzegorz Damięcki.

Admission:
Admission is free. No prior registration required — just come and take part in the event.
Architectural accessibility:
- The event will take place on the ground floor; entrance from street level. The entrance doors open automatically outwards.
- The building is fully accessible for wheelchair users and people with strollers. There is an elevator to all levels inside.
- On the ground floor, close to the meeting area, there are restrooms, including a bathroom with a changing table for children adapted for people with mobility difficulties.
How to get there:
- Location: Pasaż Stefana Wiecheckiego „Wiecha” 4 — entrance from the square in front of the building.
- Public transport: Bus and tram stops and the metro station named “Centrum” are located about 250 metres away.
- Bicycle: Bike lanes lead to Widok Street; 24 bicycle parking spaces are available at the entrance.
- Car: The pavilion does not have its own parking and direct vehicle access to the entrance is not possible; the nearest spaces can be found on Widok Street. On Chmielna Street, near the pavilion, there are 2 parking spaces for people with disabilities.
Evacuation:
- The building has clear directional signage and audible signals to assist evacuation.
- There are 4 emergency exits on the ground floor. The assembly point for evacuees is located at Pasaż Stefana Wiecheckiego „Wiecha”.
