Łysica, one-day trip 14.03.2026

Join us for an unforgettable trip to Łysica, the highest peak of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, offering picturesque views of the surrounding nature. We depart from Warsaw to the heart of one of Poland’s oldest mountain ranges to discover the charms of this unique location. Łysica rises to 612 meters above sea level and is the lowest peak included in the Crown of Polish Mountains (KGP).

Itinerary:

We meet at Plac Defilad (parking opposite Kinoteka) at 7:00 and head to the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. The drive takes us just under 3 hours, so around 10:00 we will start our hike from the village of Święta Katarzyna. The coach will wait at the parking lot, which is about a 45-minute walk from the Benedictine monastery that we will have the opportunity to visit. During the entire trip we travel by the same coach, so unnecessary items can be left on it.

After finishing the trail, at about 17:30, we will start the return trip to Warsaw. The estimated return to Plac Defilad is 20:30.

Please bring:

• comfortable shoes (we have a long route ahead)
• other hiking accessories that help the walk, e.g. poles
• provisions for the road: water, snacks (and something sweet)
• clothing appropriate for the weather conditions
