BOOK LAUNCH: "Warsaw. A Non-Guide for Tourists and Residents" by Hanna Dzielińska

    About the event

Faktyczny Dom Kultury and Bezdroża Publishing invite you to the book launch of Hanna Dzielińska's "Warsaw. A Non-Guide for Tourists and Residents". The meeting with the author will be hosted by Konrad Czubaj. [EVENT BROADCASTED] This is not another guidebook to Warsaw, but an invitation to explore the city in your own way. You won't find too many dates or school-style history lectures here. Instead ― short stories, specific addresses, and a fresh perspective on Warsaw. The non-guide encourages you to stray off the beaten path, peek into courtyards and alleys, immerse yourself in the greenery of parks and gardens, wander lesser-known streets, admire architectural details, and pause where history intertwines with everyday life. This is a personal and unconventional Warsaw. A city not just of monuments and squares, but also of courtyards, tenement houses, murals, and stories that still echo in the rhythm of the capital's daily life. Hanna Dzielińska - journalist, promoter of knowledge about the history, culture, and art of the capital. She organizes corporate events where participants learn about Warsaw's history and architecture, assists companies in onboarding processes, directs documentaries, leads walks, urban games, and integration events. She is a laureate of architectural competition awards. An Italianist and art historian, she is known as Hanka Warszawianka. Co-organized by: Bezdroża Publishing. The event is co-financed by the City of Warsaw.
