This time at Gallery Ł, we will present the works of Urszula Cecylia Michalska. The artist admits that she has always been fascinated by nature. "In the past, it was landscapes, then I sought synthesis in coastal forests, but nature is not just leaves, mountains, and water. My latest exhibition is an abstract journey into the world of science. (...) Over two years ago, when media reports were dominated by revelations about artificial intelligence, I decided to delve into this topic, which ultimately led me to a fascination with contemporary research in various fields of natural sciences. I did not become an expert in these fields, but my brain gathered all the information, admired it, processed it unguarded, and created internal images. Smoothly, painlessly, and with great joy. My hands, like an EEG device, produced monotypes that eventually became designs for paintings. There is also a second layer - emotions. These simple graphics also served as inspiration for a poet who wrote haiku based on them."
