    O wydarzeniu

🎨 Vernissage: 13.09.2025 (Saturday) at 7:00 PM 🖼️ Exhibition open until: 1.10.2025 /free entry/ The idea for the project – "FORMAL-AESTHETIC PROCEDURES" came to us two years ago. We conceived it out of a need to conduct an artistic experiment. It involves painting (integrating) one's own part of a painting into the existing "fabric" of a painting created by another artist. This is a very exciting creative activity because it forces us to delve deeper into the analysis of a work created by another artist. During this process, many philosophical questions arose, such as: How far can one go in interfering with someone else's intellectual property? Where is the boundary, and can it even be defined? It is worth emphasizing that the "FORMAL-AESTHETIC PROCEDURES" project originates from curiosity and appreciation for the creative work of another artist. As a result, mutual trust and a desire to explore shared areas related to the broad concept of design and later the creation of a painting emerge. Biographical notes: - Filip Gruszczyński was born on May 29, 1978, in Warsaw. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, earning his degree in 2004. From an early age, he was interested in drawing and painting, and over the years, he developed his artistic passion. Since 2010, he has participated in Young and New Art auctions at auction houses such as Polswiss Art, Desa Unicum, Sopot Auction House, Rempex, and Agra Art. In 2011, he took part in a multidimensional event organized by the REMPEX auction house during the Night of Museums in Warsaw and also presented his works at the DORUMART Gallery. In April 2019, he participated in the Art Spring Show in Barcelona at the Art Nou Mil.lenni gallery. In May 2019, he presented his works at a solo exhibition during the Night of Museums at the Culture Promotion Center in Warsaw's Praga-Południe district. The exhibition was titled "Endemic Size." In May 2023, he held a solo exhibition at the Nerlish gallery in Hamburg, as part of the "Night of Consulates in Hamburg" celebrations at the residence of the Consul General of the Republic of Poland. In June 2023, he exhibited at the De Weryha gallery in Hamburg. In June 2023, he participated in the 1st edition of ART SHOW at the Norblin Factory in Warsaw. He created portrait awards for the Polish Screenwriters Guild Gala in 2024. Together with pianist Radosław Sobczak, he forms an artistic duo aimed at fusing arts: painting and music. The result of this endeavor is an exhibition and concert at the DOM ZE SZTUKĄ gallery in Warsaw in July 2024 and the "PROTEUS" exhibition and concert at the W RAMACH SZTUKI gallery in Olsztyn's DRAGON STABLES in August 2024. In February 2025, he held a solo exhibition "DIALOGUES" at the palace in Brwinów, combined with a chamber music concert performed by the trio "MISTO," for which the paintings were created: Mendelssohn-Trio No.1 D Minor; Schubert-Trio op.100-Andante con moto; Beethoven-Trio B flat Major op.11. His paintings are in many private collections in Poland and abroad: in Belgium, Germany, Japan, Spain, Sweden, and South Africa. Gruszczyński is defined as an artist full of passion and positive energy, influenced by the richness of culture, history, mythology, and literature. His vast and astonishing imagination remains the main inspiration for his works. - Przemysław Wójciak was born in 1992 in Brzeg, Opole Voivodeship. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław in the field of graphics. "From a young age, I was fascinated by Asian culture and art. My artistic pseudonym comes from the first word I learned in Japanese, which means cauliflower. Cauliflower is a symbol of health, happiness, and prosperity. I am a painter, illustrator, and musician. I often draw inspiration from Asian art, and my favorite artist has always been Toshio Saeki. I have exhibited my works many times in Poland and abroad. For several years, I have been collaborating with Backwoods Gallery in Melbourne (Australia), Mads Gallery (Italy), Monat Gallery (Spain), and several galleries in Poland. My work has been greatly influenced by participating in the PicnicArt Festival in Shanghai, where I met many artists from China and Asia and had the opportunity to get to know Shanghai and draw from its culture. As an illustrator, I primarily design magazine covers and clothing patterns. One of my more interesting projects was collaborating with Boiler Room, an international music industry company. The main themes of my works are often nude women. My paintings and illustrations are also characterized by a limited color palette. I also create murals – I am a co-founder of an art studio in Wrocław, whose main activity is painting murals. For several years, I have also been involved in music production and create electronic music under the pseudonym House Of Palms." Exhibition curator: Marcin Kokoszko
