Hipolit and Ludwika Festival For the 11th time, the Association of Residents and Friends of the Wawelberg Colony invites you to the Hipolit and Ludwika Festival. This year's guests will include Sławek Uniatowski and the Kirszenbaum duo. The event is funded by the City of Warsaw. Once again, the green courtyards of the historic Wawelberg Colony will host the Hipolit and Ludwika Festival. This year, we will commemorate the figure of an extraordinary woman, social activist Ludwika Wawelberg, the wife of the founder of our estate. From the very beginning, the festival has been a catalyst for change. It has made conservators and officials recognize the uniqueness of the historic estate and appreciate the engagement of the local community. The Wawelberg Colony, forgotten for years, has become an important place on the map of Warsaw. Over time, it has undergone significant transformations and beautification. Now, we have another reason to celebrate—thanks to the efforts of Wola activists and the voices of district residents, replicas of Warsaw's gas lanterns will arrive at the Colony next year.
