The year 2025 has been declared the year of Warsaw's reconstruction. In February, we celebrated the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Capital Reconstruction Office, where over 1,500 people worked – architects, planners, monument conservators, and craftsmen. Warsaw was also rebuilt by its residents. Professor Jan Zachwatowicz played a particularly important role. With grateful memory of all those who contributed to the reconstruction of the capital, we join the series of events commemorating this anniversary. The festival also aims to promote the idea of collective music-making among seniors, build bonds, integrate through music, and bring joy through shared creation. The main idea is to invite performances of songs about Warsaw and hits of old Warsaw – pieces that rarely appear in the repertoires of amateur groups.
