A horse is not naturally created to carry a rider on its back.
In German equestrian literature, there is a word 'Trageerschöpfung,' referring to the exhaustion of the horse's body, which prevents it from carrying a rider, as well as its own body weight. Its effects can be seen in the body and psyche of horses. It is commonly referred to as the Topline Syndrome, which is the lowering of the horse's back line.
Currently, more and more horses are showing typical signs of Topline Syndrome. We have become so accustomed to horses with poorly developed backs and a hollow posture that we do not pay too much attention to it.
Incorrect training, bad or overly intense training contribute to the inability of horses to carry, just like a lack of training does.
As horse owners, we are responsible for their proper training so that they can carry us without harming their health. If there is a lack of awareness of the existing problem, a series of mistakes and catastrophic consequences for the horses occur.
Therefore, I warmly invite you to this webinar dedicated to the above topic, through which you will gain the knowledge necessary to recognize when your horse is unable to carry you on its back and what may be the cause of it.
The webinar will cover the following topics:
-what is topline syndrome?
-how to recognize its classic signs?
-what is the cause of the inability to carry?
-case analysis, or training the eye😊
