From Ewa Foley:
Who did you want to be in life when you were a child? Most of us planned our lives when we were very small. I dreamed of exotic countries and travels, of unknown continents and their indigenous inhabitants. As a little girl, I read 'Tomek in the Land of Kangaroos' with excitement and dreamed of Australia. When at 32 I became the wife of Australian diplomat Don Foley and when I saw a real kangaroo for the first time, and then hugged a koala, the dream became a reality. A few years later, I met Aboriginal leader Burnam Burnam, who taught me how to enter 'dreamtime,' allowed me to meet dolphins (You can also swim with them virtually using my meditation on the CD titled 'Dream with Dolphins') and invited me on a 'walkabout.'
When I was 48, I sat with a shaman of the Navajo tribe in Canyon de Chelly (Arizona, USA), listening to legends about his ancestors. In the famous Monument Valley, I had the privilege of listening to a powerful creation song in the Navajo language. I also traveled to Africa to visit natural wonders such as the giant Victoria Falls. In 2006, I undertook an expedition to South America and a journey following the Inca trail in Peru with Peruvian shamans of the Q’ero tradition (Cuzco, the Inca 'navel of the universe,' Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca). I also dreamed of Mexico and Guatemala – this became a reality in 2007!
The following questions...
... will explain to you what you really expect from your life. First, read them carefully, without writing them down. Think about the answers – give yourself time. Let your mind work at its own pace. Find a quiet place where no one will disturb you.
* How would you like to be remembered?
* What have you always dreamed of offering to the world?
* When you look at your life, what do you consider your greatest contribution to it?
* When people think of you, which of your traits do they notice?
* What do you really expect from your life and your work?
After a moment of reflection, read the questions again and write down your answers.
AT ANY MOMENT YOU CAN START OVER!
