In an apartment where the present meets the past, a Woman, a Caregiver, a Girl, and a Boy try to cope with the inevitable progression of the Older Woman's illness. They face erasure, forgetting, removal, decay, losing, dying, wilting, wasting - but also less philosophical ideas, because Alzheimer's disease often presents specific problems that require real solutions. Although total emptiness seems inevitable, the characters, in unusual circumstances, fight for the remaining scraps

of life – even when the obstacle is themselves.
