On our board, we welcome a new ward. We welcome him with great sadness because that’s all we feel when we look at him.

Lucky was brought to the vet for euthanasia. The reason? Hold on... he bothers the little ones at home and also requires medical care... 😐 We can’t believe what we’re writing, but that’s how it was.

From this very place, we thank Mrs. Teresa and Joanna for ensuring that his fate did not end and for finding a way for him to experience at least a bit of happiness for a while longer ♥️

Lucky is a dog of the York type. He is 12 years old. At first glance, we can see that he requires veterinary care (the family was not lying here), but significantly contributed to his condition are YEARS of neglect. How can this be? Human, remember - YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOU HAVE TAME. And this does not only apply to petting and going out to pee.

But to the point - we will start with extended blood tests. Lucky is having a hard time breathing, and we need to find out what the cause is. Sick heart? An ultrasound will clarify that. Unfortunately, Lucky is not standing on one leg. An urgent ultrasound is also required here, so an appointment with Dr. Banego, the best dog orthopedic surgeon, has already been scheduled. And what is visible to the naked eye - his teeth - are in tragic condition, they must hurt him. Unfortunately, for now, we do not know if it will be possible to take care of this, as euthanasia for the procedure may be dangerous. However, we will leave the assessment to the doctor.
