“600 years of loneliness” is the first fully Polish-language release by Hedone and the successor to the highly acclaimed album “2020,” released on December 31, 2020.

Maciej Werk: “It’s an album about transience, departure, the fatigue of the surrounding world, but on the other hand, it’s also about hope and the search for the joy of life.”

The album was created with the help of Marcin Bors, one of the busiest Polish producers. “600 years of loneliness” was released on CD and LP by the New Sun label – a branch of GAD Records..

Hedone was formed in the early 90s in Łódź. The band is among the most innovative, non-conformist formations. It can be confidently stated that it is an extremely valuable, almost inseparable element of the Polish music scene of the last four decades. After fifteen years of silence, Hedone returned with a new album “2020,” which was released on December 31, 2020. Maciej Werk records albums rarely, but when he enters the studio, it means he has something important to say. The same is true in the case of “600 Years of Loneliness.”

⋆.˚ LORIEN ⋆.˚ (Dark Alternative Folk Rock)

The band is well known to connoisseurs of gothic rock due to their active presence from 1995 to 2005. Lorien regularly performed and appeared at festivals, including several editions of Castle Party. Their recordings were present on radio and television, and positive reviews of the first two albums ('Lothlorien,' 1998 and 'Czarny Kwiat Lotosu,' 2002) appeared in many music portals and magazines.

After recording the demo 'Nawet' in 2005 and suspending activities until 2013, the musicians played in other formations, only to meet again and approach the work on new material with fresh energy. The result of these efforts is the album 'Sny moje' (2018). It is a journey through various emotional states, from melancholy to intense energy. Each song is like a separate story, where the sounds of guitar, violin, and hurdy-gurdy transport the listener to another dimension.

The album was appreciated by critics for its maturity and originality.

The last years of Lorien's activity have been marked by well-received concerts. The band has performed with such groups as: Closterkeller, Opozycja, Artrosis, Tune, and Pornografia. The band received many positive reviews, including a very good rating in the magazine 'Teraz Rock.'

Currently, the band is working on a new album, which is planned for release in the first quarter of 2025.

⋆.˚ DECADENT FUN CLUB ⋆.˚

After several years of intense touring in clubs, cafes, basements, squats, and on the biggest festival stages (including Pol’and’Rock, Jarocin, OFF Camera, Castle Party, FAMA, Męskie Granie), Decadent Fun Club released the long-awaited album 'OKO.' Unlike their earlier English-language songs, the album 'OKO' contains 10 songs with Polish lyrics. The sound is produced by two producers: Leszek Biolik and Bartek Szczęsny. One of the songs ('Tam') was enriched by the sensitivity of Anja Orthodox.

The music of Decadent Fun Club is a cool breath of fresh air and a reference to the most beautiful musical traditions. Audiences and journalists, when defining the band's style, seek influences from all kinds of 'alternative' and 'wave' genres. The band itself describes its music as an emotional rollercoaster suspended between light and darkness. This ambiguity makes Decadent Fun Club reach the hearts of a very diverse audience, proving that sincerity and true emotions transcend all categories - they have no age, gender, or (sub)cultural affiliation.
