We invite you to Vocal Workshops with Ramona Rey

Purpose of the workshops:

1. Discovering the natural sound of your voice through work on the body and mind. * proper breathing – articulation – awareness of resonance results in proper emission and intonation, and the right mindset allows for a free flow of the entire process.

2. Gaining confidence in your own abilities by recognizing, accepting, and skillfully utilizing your individual traits and strengths

3. Stage performance with full awareness of all the values you have to offer the listener.

Day 1

- work on vocal technique.
- work on selected pieces (we learn from each other, exchange experiences).

RAMONA REY - graduate of the Music Academy in Gdańsk, Vocal and Acting Department, mezzo-soprano.

A versatile artist, performing music from various eras - from baroque, through bel canto to contemporary electronic music. Together with Igor Czerniawski, she creates a musical duo under the same name.

Their work is broadly understood electro-pop music.

In their work, they use sounds of techno, electro, trap, singing: ethnic, classical, and above all, that which is characteristic only of Ramona Rey.

The artists' goal is to rediscover music. They do not rely on established patterns and schemes.

One of their first concerts was a performance at the Jarocin Festival.

They also successfully perform around the world, promoting the charm of the Polish language. They have performed, among others, at the Cherry Forest Festival in Gorky Park in Moscow, and at the New Year's Gala of the Russian music television Music Box. In 2010, for the needs of the FIFA World Cup, a music video for the song 'Oh Africa' was created, in which Ramona Rey performed and sang alongside Akon and Keri Hilson.

Winner of many awards and nominations (Fryderyk Awards, Superjedynki, Vena Festival, Yach Festival)

As an opera singer, she participated in performances: 'Otello,' 'Eros and Psyche' at the Baltic Opera, 'Venetian Dances' at the Nova Opera in Bydgoszcz, 'The Magic Flute' at the St. John's Center in Gdańsk, and 'Manon Lescaut' at the Grand Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw. She has worked with directors such as Mariusz Treliński, Marek Weiss, and Andrzej Strzelecki.

Since 2019, her repertoire has been enriched with the works of the band Maanam.

The artist performed live during the premiere of Kora's Notebooks, a book titled 'Love Begins with Love,' and during the unveiling ceremony of Kora's mural in Warsaw's Bielany.
