Walk along 'Wide' Krakowskie Przedmieście
When: January 11 at 4:00 PM
Where: Let's meet under the tower of St. Anne's Church, I will be waiting with a sign.
Krakowskie Przedmieście is a representative street of Warsaw. There are many beautiful palaces, monuments, and churches here.
During the walk, I will answer questions:
- why 'Wide'?
- what did the post-war agent of Her Majesty do on Krakowskie Przedmieście during World War II?
- where did the feudal homage take place?
- for whom were the triumphal arches erected?
- where was the music conservatory located?
- Władysław Reymont an actor?
- a housing estate for PRL dignitaries next to Krakowskie Przedmieście?
- where did Marie Curie Skłodowska conduct her first research?
- how did Poles show gratitude to America?
We will answer these and many other questions during the walk.
The guide will be: Kacper
The walk is free, but if you would like to reward the guide, we would be very pleased.
