In January (specifically on January 17), we warmly invite you to 'Christening' (2022). This is the feature debut of Jakub Skocznia, a long-time director of the series 'Colors of Happiness'.

The film tells the story of a multi-generational family that gathers in their hometown for a christening. The matriarch - Marianna (played by Katarzyna Figura) wishes to reconcile her long-feuding children during the celebration, but fate intervenes as martial law is declared, and the woman decides to hide this fact from the rest of the family...
The film, based on a screenplay by Jakub Skocznia and Iwo Kardel, shows how the past influences the present of the characters and the consequences of unspoken words and hidden emotions.

'Christening' is an intimate production, as most events take place in one house. Very interesting characters are portrayed by the aforementioned Katarzyna Figura as well as Maciej Musiałowski, Tomasz Schuchardt, and Maciej Żurawski.

After the film, there will be a meeting with the creators.
