Sea passage planning workshops for recreational sailors in Polish with elements of the English language.

The workshop can serve as a basis for commercial RYA Yachtmaster courses from SAILPRO School of Yachting.

First workshops: January 18/19, 2025.

Workshop location: YKP WARSZAWA, ul. Wał Miedzeszyński 377, 03-980 Warsaw.

Weekend workshops, stationary in Warsaw or on request in other cities.

Number of modules:

module 1 basic-intermediate. Participants are required to have at least one sea voyage as a crew member, RYA SRC certificate will be a bonus.

module 2 advanced. Participants are required to have at least two sea voyages, including at least a few hours of skippering, SRC certificate will be a bonus.

Duration of workshops in one module 2*8 hours = 16 hours.

Price for 1 module/ 16 hours 950 PLN. The price includes access to all materials except for an individual subscription to the plotter on mobile devices for Central and Western Europe online at a price of 269.99 PLN.

Module 1 program.

Independent preparation of a passage up to 300 M (stage 1) on tidal and non-tidal coastal waters up to 60M using publications, paper charts, almanacs and pilots, electronic navigation and weather applications at a basic-intermediate level. Passage planning project according to 4 stages, in accordance with IMO, resolution A, 893(21).

Workshop on practical aspects before, during, and after the passage appropriate to the level of the module participants.

Module 2 program.

Independent preparation of a passage up to 1000 M (stage 2) on tidal and non-tidal coastal and open waters, using publications, paper charts, almanacs and pilots, electronic navigation and weather applications at an advanced level. Passage planning project according to 4 stages, in accordance with IMO, resolution A, 893(21).

Workshop on practical aspects before, during, and after the passage appropriate to the level of the module participants.

The workshops aim to familiarize participants, whose passion is cruising sailing, with the aspects of safe, independent planning and conducting non-commercial, recreational voyages on tidal and non-tidal waters with a focus on the practical aspects of such sailing or preparation for the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore/Ocean Commercially Endorsed Certificate.

Conducted by Agnieszka Schramm-Newth, RYA YMOI, Yacht Captain and Sailing Instructor PZŻ, over 150,000 M on seas and oceans, independently, solo, as a skipper, Instructor, delivery skipper. RYA Instructor since 2008, owner and chief Instructor of RYA TC SAILPRO School of Yachting.
