New Year, we begin a time of fasting and prayer.

The reason for fasting is that in the Bible we see how people belonging to God practice fasting. And the Lord Jesus assumes that His disciples will fast.

The purpose of fasting is to turn our attention away from daily matters and to listen to what God is saying to us as a Church and as individuals.

The effect of fasting and prayer is always a refreshed faith and greater closeness to God.

Although fasting does not come easily to us, WE INVITE YOU!!!
