During the lecture, the following issues will be addressed: the role of neurotransmitters and the reward system in screen usage (dopamine, serotonin, adrenaline) and the effects on the psyche of a young person;

the use of blue light technology and its consequences;

mechanisms of addiction to social media;

the role of habits and good practices in using digital devices;

principles of digital hygiene in everyday life.

Presenter: Monika Przybysz, PhD, professor at UKSW – specialist in public relations, crisis management, social media, media studies, lecturer at the Institute of Media Education and Journalism at UKSW in Warsaw, youth researcher, trainer, and educator.
