Perfumes and sweaters – statistically the most commonly bought Christmas gifts. Supposedly useful, not always tasteful. It is inappropriate not to say thank you, and there’s no way to exchange them later (after all, it’s not proper to include a receipt with a Christmas gift).
On the second day of Christmas, bring all those worst gifts you found under the tree to the Comedy Club, as well as your holiday anecdotes. Inspired by them, we will perform an improvised comedy show that – we hope – will help you relieve the past days, get rid of the guilt that the gifts don’t make you happy, and the feeling that there was definitely too much food (just like every year) (similarly to questions like: When will you get married? Isn’t it time to think about a child? When will you ask for a raise? etc.).
And while we are still bound by the rules of good manners, one solution is to let unwanted gifts enter the second circulation. Bring all the mismatched gifts you received this holiday to a secret, basement market, where you can exchange one useless item for another – equally useless. Who knows, maybe you’ll find a gem? Maybe strangers know you better than family and friends, and they will give you the gift of your dreams?
