Once everything looked different: people knew gnomes, and gnomes knew people well... Jealous trolls, however, could not stand this. They bullied the gnomes for so long that they had to hide completely. And they succeeded perfectly. Adults are even convinced that Gnomes have completely disappeared. Now, few can distinguish a dwarf from a gnome! or an Elf! That’s why we warmly invite you to an extraordinary lecture by world-renowned gnomeologists!

You will learn what gnomes look like, how they like to play, where they live, and what their holiday customs are. We will also embark on a journey to the far north, to the land of Santa Claus, to see how the elves prepare for the holidays with their boss! By the way, we would like to add that the lecture by the professors of gnomeology is conducted in shadow theater technique.

The Puppet Theater is a stage for children of the Puppet Theater in Kraków, the only professional shadow theater in Poland. The Theater's headquarters is located in Kraków, at Sławkowska Street 14, but their performances can also be seen at friendly Kraków stages (NCK, KTO, ODSTK 'Cricoteka', SCKM). The repertoire of the Puppet Theater includes not only shadow theater performances, but the team also has puppet shows made in paper theater technique and others. The performance is co-financed by the City of Kraków.
