The concert allows us to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the outside world and hear our own presence of Self. It restores our peace and detaches us from everyday life. It allows us to fully immerse ourselves in music here and now and to pause time for a moment!

A concert in the dark is:

You will have the chance to listen to well-known pieces in new arrangements, which in complete darkness will take on an even deeper expression. The repertoire includes the most famous jazz standards:

You will hear a SAXOPHONE AND DOUBLE BASS DUET.
The stars of our concert will be:
SŁAWOMIR PEZDA - saxophonist, composer, graduate of the Academy of Music in Krakow in the department of jazz and contemporary music. Winner of many prestigious competitions of various musical styles, including Jazz Juniors, Krokus Jazz Festival, Key to Career, Novum Jazz Festival, Baszta Jazz Festival, Art of Improvisation. He has several dozen released studio and concert albums to his credit, both as a leader and a member of other bands. He has performed at the largest jazz festivals in the country and abroad, including Singer Jazz Festival, Summer Jazz Festival, Jazz Festival Praha, Jazzinec, MediaWave Festival, Jazzire Festival, Targu Mures International Jazz Festival, Trieste Loves Jazz Festival, and many others. He currently co-creates bands such as Mike Parker's Trio Theory, with which he has played several hundred concerts in Europe, his own project - The Flash, where he combines musical genres such as rock, jazz, drum & bass, and the latest band Sławek Pezda Quartet.
ALAN WYKPISZ - double bassist, bass guitarist, composer, improviser, educator. Graduate of the Academy of Music in Krakow and Katowice (PhD). Winner of competitions such as: Jazz Hoeilaart, Bass Copenhagen, and Jazz nad Odrą. He has performed at many festivals in countries such as: Kuwait, Qatar, Spain, USA, Canada, Belgium, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India. Together with the High Definition Quartet, he was nominated for the FRYDERYK 2014 award (album Hopasa), and with Mateusz Gawęda's Trio for FRYDERYK 2016 for Overnight Tales, with the Natalia Kordiak Quintet nominated for the FRYDERYK 2020 award (album Bajka). He has performed with artists such as Janusz Muniak, Randy Brecker, Dave Liebman, Aga Zaryan, Adam Pierończyk, Michał Urbaniak. He is the leader of his own band Alan Wykpisz Project, co-creating formations such as Alan Wykpisz Project, Mateusz Gawęda Trio, Eskaubei & Tomek Nowak Quartet, Cracov Jazz Collective, Natalia Kordiak Quintet, Paweł Kaczmarczyk Trio, and others.
The concert will take place in a room that will be surrounded by complete darkness. Eliminating the sense of sight will allow you to fully focus on the music and the sounds of the instruments. To ensure your safety, we inform you that emergency lights will be on during the event, in accordance with safety procedures. During the concert, you will receive black eye masks that will ensure complete darkness, creating unique sound-sensory experiences.
