The next opportunity to present your own poetry at MDK Bielany - on Sunday, November 17, at 5:00 PM.

Anyone who is over 18, has submitted an application, and fits within the limit of places (20) can perform at the slam.

Applications should be sent by November 16, by midnight to the address poezja.w.warszawie@gmail.com.

If there are free spots, you can add your name to the list of performers directly before the tournament.

SLAM RULES:

1. Anyone of legal age can participate in the slam, regardless of literary experience and achievements.

2. To participate in the slam, you must register in a timely manner and receive confirmation of being added to the list of performers. The order of applications and a limit of 20 people apply.

3. During the tournament, only your own literary works can be presented.

4. The tournament consists of three stages: eliminations, semifinals, and finals.

5. In the eliminations, all participating individuals present their texts in random order, and the audience evaluates their performance. Each audience member has one vote after each performance and votes by raising their hand.

6. Four individuals with the highest scores advance to the semifinals, where the competition takes place in pairs. The winning individual from each pair advances to the finals. In the semifinals and finals, voting takes place after each pair's performance.

7. Time limits for performances: 3 minutes in eliminations and semifinals, 5 minutes during the finals. In case of a tiebreaker - 1 minute.

8. No props, costumes, musical backgrounds, or instruments can be used at any stage. The only allowed prop is the text medium presented on stage.

9. Any doubts regarding the tournament rules are resolved by the person leading the slam.

10. The organizers of the tournament are the Duży Format Foundation and Poetry in Warsaw.

11. The sponsor of the prizes is the Duży Format Foundation.

12. Participation in the slam means consenting to the publication of audiovisual materials featuring your image on the social media of Poetry in Warsaw and the Duży Format Foundation in reports from the POETIC SLAM. TURNING POINT.
