'This Feeling' is an intimate document and at the same time the first feature film by Alex Baczyński-Jenkins. We accompany the lives of five people close to the director: Aaa, Billy, Dawid, Filipka, and Olo. These are individuals who create, perform, protest, and support each other, facing an oppressive reality. 'This Feeling' is both a poetic and political diary of their daily lives. The director sometimes documents, and at other times co-creates situations filled with intimacy, fun, rebellion, and desire.
The film premiere is organized in collaboration with the 24th International Film Festival WATCH DOCS (November 22 - December 1), where 'This Feeling' will compete for the award in the New Polish Films Competition and for the Award of the Association of Study Cinemas.
The date is not accidental; in the film, the 'Poem to the Marching Nationalist (to the queer people of Warsaw)' by American poet Ezra Green is recited, written specifically for the celebrations of November 11, 2018.
