Wawerskie Centrum Kultury invites you to the performance Woman and Tango, a dance theater show based on tango stories, inspired by the script of Eva Cortina, directed by Bogumiła Stachurska.

The performance features enthusiasts who share their experiences and struggles that come with learning tango. In addition to the enthusiasts, there is also a pair of professional dancers: Luiza and Marcelo Almiron. She is Polish, he is Argentine from Buenos Aires. For years, they have been running a tango school together in Warsaw. Jacek Pluta, an actor from Teatr Syrena and a milonga enthusiast, was persuaded to participate in the performance.

In the performance, moving music by well-known composers plays as important a role as dance: Osvaldo Pugliese, Francisco Canaro, Juan D'Arienzo, Carlos Di Sarli. You can also expect a Polish piece.
