A visit to the Study Stores at the Sculpture Museum in Królikarnia with a guide is a unique opportunity to take a closer look at sculpture from the 20th and 21st centuries.

The Study Stores are neither an exhibition nor a typical storage facility. It is a unique space organized so that everyone can closely examine objects specially selected from the rich collection of the National Museum, which are not on display on a daily basis. It is also a unique opportunity to trace the changes and directions occurring in sculpture over the past hundred years.

The stores contain, among others, expressive works by Alina Szapocznikow, sensual sculptures by August Zamoyski, avant-garde works by Katarzyna Kobro, elegant marble statues by Henryk Kuna, gigantic wooden creatures by Jerzy Beres, geometric steel constructions by Henryk Stażewski, surreal banners by Władysław Hasior, and hundreds of other important, extraordinary, and sometimes mysterious objects.
