★ Dr MISIO ★
male crew led by Arek Jakubik – one of the most recognizable Polish actors and a screenwriter, director associated with ambitious film projects on the cultural map of Poland, known among others for excellent dramatic roles in Wojtek Smarzowski's films (“Wesele”, “Dom zły”, “Drogówka”, “Wołyń”, “KLER”).
Solid sound, heavy riffs, excellent, intelligent lyrics by Krzysztof Warga and Marcin Świetlicki, and a lack of musical compromise make this a new and original proposal not only for rock fans but primarily for people seeking intellectual experiences and reflections in art, open to form and not shying away from shared, almost ritual fun.
The band has two albums to its credit titled: “Młodzi” and “Pogo”, produced by Olaf Deriglasoff, with the most characteristic tracks being: “Mentolowe papierosy”, “Dziewczyny”, “Młodzi”, “Hipster”, “Pogo” or “Mr.H….” In spring 2017, the third album titled ‘Zmartwychwstaniemy’ was released, produced by Kuba Galiński, known for producing albums for: HEY, Ania Dąbrowska, or Ania Rusowicz.
The third album was promoted by the track titled ‘Pismo’, for which the music video was made by Wojtek Smarzowski. This track was played on most Polish radio stations, and the music video for this song has over 2 million views on YouTube.
In 2020, the Dr Misio band recorded their fourth album titled “Strach XXI wieku”, again produced by Kuba Galiński. The album premiered in October 2020, promoted by singles and music videos for the tracks titled Chcesz się bać, directed by Piotr Domalewski, ‘Strach XXI wieku’ directed by Wojtek Smarzowski, and “Siedemnastolatki” directed by Oskar Kaszyński. In November 2023, the Dr Misio band will release their latest, fifth album titled “Chory na Polskę”. The music video for the title track promoting the album was realized by Piotr Domalewski. And from 05.10.2023, another music video promoting the album for the track titled “Wielkie żarcie”, directed by Wojtek Smarzowski, can be watched.
Dr Misio has played countless concerts throughout Poland and abroad, from tiny clubs to large outdoor concerts and festivals such as: Jarocin, Przystanek Woodstock, Orkiestra Meskie Granie, Cieszanów Rock Festival, Co Jest Grane Festival, TOP TRENDY Festival, TOP of The TOP Festival. Dr Misio is a wonderful band for an audience expecting a lot of energy and emotions from the artist during the concert, both in clubs and outdoors, and Arek Jakubik is considered one of the best and most dynamic frontmen in the Polish music market.
★ Zgniłość ★
Zgniłość - a band of Krakow poet Marcin Świetlicki and Sopot pianist Michał Wandzilak. They have invited not-so-young around-Tricity jazz musicians to collaborate: saxophonist Michał Ciesielski and trumpeter Dawid Lipka, double bassist Maciej Sadowski, and drummer Tomasz Koper. The lineup has also been joined since time immemorial by crime novelist, karateka, chess player, anthropologist Dr. hab., Prof. of SWPS University Mariusz Czubaj on heroic saxophone.
Zgniłość hatched in 2015 from the awkward one-time band Jazztliki playing pseudo-jazz covers of the biggest hits of the band Świetliki. The current musical trajectory of Zgniłość could be described as post-post-ironic-post-winter-wave-post-yass. The ensemble boldly refers to the best musical traditions of Pomerania and Krakow.
In May 2017, a two-disc audiobook by Marcin Świetlicki titled 'Drobna zmiana' (a5 Publishing) was released, with the musical accompaniment provided by Zgniłość.
The second album of the band titled 'Siedmiościan' was released by the Tymoteusz Karpowicz Foundation. The record contains, alongside original compositions, a number of surprising musical reinterpretations (including 'Mmmorderstwo' or 'Przysiadalność'). Legendary trumpeter Antoni Ziut Gralak and legendary actress and Germanist Julia Kamińska participated as guests in the recordings. The album is promoted by the singles 'Hotel Savoy' and 'To ten sam wiatr'.
The album 'Siedmiościan' received a Top Note rating from JazzPRESS magazine and was one of the five albums of the year 2017 according to Playboy magazine.
The third album exists in the nebula and will materialize someday.

★ MORIS ★
We play music inspired by the sound of the 60s, based on the characteristic sound of keyboards, and it is not hard to find a love for Polish music, for example, Brygady Kryzys or Świetliki. However, all of this is nurtured on our ground, on the soil of our friendship from the Bielany estate. We never really thought that we would ever even appear on the radio, so from the beginning, we create entirely for ourselves and for us. However, it finds admirers, and we thank everyone for it.
----
Now, already as completely seasoned, experienced, and close-knit - we have composed our first mature material, a minilong 'Dzień powszedni, sobota, święto' (the title is a tribute to timetables). It is promoted by the single '1999' with a clip recorded by Tomek Nowacki from our mother ship, Boddah Studio
Antek Martynowicz - keyboards
Jędrzej Cichocki - guitars/vocals
Aga Bot - bass
Adrian Błaszczyk - drums
Marek Chołoniewski - saxophone
