Due to extensive plans – we invite you probably to the last edition in the coming years of the 4th session course – ACTivation – from introduction to skill development in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
For whom? If you are a psychologist, psychotherapist not only cognitive-behavioral therapist or schema therapist, or you work in a helping profession, care about the development of your therapeutic skills and want to expand your knowledge and skills in therapy derived from contextual behavioral sciences, the so-called 'third wave of cognitive-behavioral therapies' ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) starting from introduction to more advanced methods of work, this workshop is for you!
Besides workshops with a strong emphasis on learning practical skills, we meet once a month for supervision between sessions – to realistically implement the acquired skills into practice.
Workshop meetings are also an excellent opportunity to establish new 'in-person' relationships. Workshops are conducted in a friendly atmosphere, supporting development and the acquisition of new skills.
What to NOT expect:
Rigidity and treating the approach as a 'religion'...
Listening only to theory...
Experiencing only on yourself, without learning to apply new knowledge in working with patients (learning skills is important in these 2 contexts)
What you can expect:
An excellent place for development – an atmosphere of passion and growth, role-playing, and experiencing the power of the third wave therapy!
Concentration on functionally integrating ACT, practical application to specific problems or in specific paradigms (CBT, schema therapy). To help more, not divide!
Relating theory and skills to practice and different patient populations/contexts, the experience of the facilitator, but also the participants of the group!
Identifying and supporting your own strengths as a therapist and their development – during supervision.
Materials beyond pdf – in the form of podcasts, listening materials – to make knowledge accessible.
Join our event today – limited spots available! (15 in-person spots, 10 online spots)
The workshop is conducted in a flexible form – also online!
Recorded for participants with 3 months of access!
Training conducted by a certified cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist and educational supervisor PTTPB. Training hours are recognized for the renewal of the cognitive-behavioral therapist certificate PTTPB – (training certificate summarizing 3 sessions) and 15 hours of supervision in the cognitive-behavioral stream.
To get to know and learn to apply Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, ACT, we invite you to training covering 4 workshop-training sessions (4x16h), combined with group supervisions (4 x 5h) between training blocks.
Participants are together in a FB group – where between sessions they have the opportunity to exchange observations, share knowledge and articles, the facilitator responds to the needs/questions of participants.
Rich materials in the form of Ebook – along with video materials, scenes from sessions for analysis – self-work between sessions – to learn flexibly and at your own pace, acquiring key skills!

PARTICIPANTS' REVIEWS FROM THE PREVIOUS EDITION:
“ACTivation allowed me to organize my existing knowledge, gain new, and above all translate it into practice. Fascinated by ACT, I had the chance to delve into the secrets under the guidance of a specialist and get answers to my pressing questions. I really liked the reference of ACT to other approaches, showing how they can be combined. It opened my mind and inspired me. It showed me how much room there is for creativity – and that is extremely important to me. Something I must mention – the training also created a wonderful opportunity for exchanging experiences among participants and establishing bonds in the group, in a lovely atmosphere. I am grateful for this experience 🙂.” Ewa Sz.
“I highly recommend the 3-session ACTivation training with Adam Elżanowski. It was one of the best trainings I have ever participated in. I feel that I finally understand all six ACT processes in practice and have tools to work with them. The workshop is conducted in an interactive way, with plenty of practical exercises that can later be proposed to clients. After the workshop, I better understand how to apply ACT to 'standard' CBT and schema therapy. Everything took place in a great atmosphere – the added value is certainly all the knowledge I could also draw from the group. While I had some knowledge after reading many books on ACT therapy – the training allowed me to organize it all, understand it even better and... love ACT with all my heart ~ I really recommend it.” Marta.
