We will start the tour next to one of the symbols of Warsaw – the column of King Sigismund III. Looking at the facade of the royal castle, you will learn about its fascinating history. Then you will discover the Old Town with its St. John the Baptist Cathedral, its picturesque streets, and its legends. Of course, we will also talk about the tragic events that took place here during the uprising in 1944. Upon arriving at the old market square, you will hear the legend of the beautiful Mermaid of Warsaw. Through the Barbican, you will pass to the other part of the historic center – the New Town. This is the place where Marie Curie was born, and you will have the opportunity to see her birthplace. Then you will return to the old town to discover the executioner's house and Beer Street. After the visit to the old town, you will admire the most beautiful street in Warsaw – Krakowskie Przedmiescie. This part of the Royal Route was faithfully reconstructed after World War II. In front of the presidential palace, you will hear several anecdotes about famous figures and their connection to Warsaw - Frédéric Chopin, Prince Poniatowski, Napoleon Bonaparte. At the end of the tour, you will arrive at Pilsudski Square, where the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located, always guarded by 2 soldiers of the Polish army. This is the moment to tell the story of the Saxon kings who had their residence here and to whom we owe the magnificent Saxon Garden. Here the tour ends.
