The organizer of the Polish Young Viewer Cinema is the Polish Filmmakers Association. The aim of the program is to invite young viewers to actively participate in film culture through participation in screenings, workshops, competitions, and meetings with artists. An important aspect of it is also the promotion of domestic cinema for children and youth in the country and abroad, as well as participation in prestigious events, with the Gdynia Polish Feature Film Festival at the forefront.
The initiative has been co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. The honorary patronage of the project has been taken by: UNICEF Poland, the Ombudsman for Children, the Polish Teachers' Union. Media patrons are 'Film Magazine' and 'Rzeczpospolita.' Partners are Lirene and the Film Educators Team.
